League of Legends, also known as LoL, is a multiplayer online battleground arena (MOBA) that was developed by Riot Games. It is basically a 5v5 team game where players compete to be the first to destroy the opposing team’s base and win the game. League of Legends is free to play and is available on Windows and Mac computers.

Due to the large number of players playing the game at the same time, players are forced to compete with each other for the number of network requests to the servers that are hosting League of Legends. If your internet connection isn’t up to par, then you will most likely experience high ping and in-game lag which severely affects your gameplay and most likely cause you to lose the game.

To help reduce your latency and have a low ping, you need to use a League of Legends proxy. By using a proxy network, you can connect to a faster and more reliable connection and ensure a lag-free experience when playing League of Legends. A League of Legends proxy can also help you stay safe and gain total anonymity when playing the game.

Depending on what you want, the best League of Legends proxies to use would be either datacenter proxies or residential proxies. If you want a faster internet connection and low latency when playing, then datacenter proxies are what’s best for you. You can use residential proxies if you want to sacrifice a bit of speed to protect your privacy and gain total anonymity.

Let’s configure your League of Legends proxy server.

Note: League of Legends will automatically copy your operating system’s proxy settings.

  2. Turn on Secure Web Proxy
  3. Input the Proxy Server Address and Port Number
  4. Click OK to save the configurations

Note: You may be prompted for your Mac user password to save your settings.
