Yandex Browser is a secure web browser that is owned and developed by the Russian technology corporation Yandex. It is one of the fastest and safest web browsers you can use because it speeds up your web browsing when you’re having a slow internet connection and also blocks dangerous files and websites by default. Yandex Browser is based on the Chromium open source project and it is available and easy to install for nearly all devices.

Yandex Browser is used for a variety of tasks. You can use it as you would a normal browser and you can also use it to do more advanced tasks like web scraping or creating multiple accounts. If you plan to use Yandex Browser for doing advanced tasks, then you need to pair it with a browser proxy as a Yandex Browser proxy will act as an intermediary for your web requests.

If you want to web scrape any website with a scraper bot, then a Yandex Browser proxy will continuously rotate your IP address to prevent your scraper bot from being banned. If you want to create multiple accounts on a platform, then a Yandex Browser proxy will enable you to circumvent the account limitation for an individual IP by attaching a different IP to each account you create.

Depending on what you want, the best Yandex Browser proxies to use would be either residential proxies or datacenter proxies. If you want full assurance that your bot won’t be banned while also giving you total anonymity, then residential proxies are the one for you. If you value speed and want a faster internet connection, then datacenter proxies are what’s best for you.

Let’s configure your Yandex Browser proxy server.

Note: The Yandex Browser will automatically copy your operating system’s proxy settings.

  2. Turn on Secure Web Proxy
  3. Input the Proxy Server Address and Port Number
  4. Click OK to save the configurations

For Mobile:

To set up a Yandex Browser proxy server for your mobile device, simply change your phone’s proxy settings. The Yandex Browser mobile browser app will automatically copy your phone’s proxy settings whenever you use it. This is applicable for both Android and iOS. Here’s a thorough guide for Android and another one for iPhone.

Congratulations! You have now finished configuring a Yandex Browser proxy server. Note that the first time you visit it, there will be a pop up asking for your login credentials.
